Thank you for visiting SJS Income Tax , where we aim to provide exemplary services to all our customers. I am Sheryl D Jones, President of SJS Income Tax, Inc. started the business in January 1993. I started preparing taxes at the age of 16 years old after learning to prepare taxes in an Economic class.
I attended the Swainsboro Technical College for 3 years, 2 years in Accounting and one year in the Medical Field. I attended classes at East Georgia College. I received my Bachelor Degree in Business Management with a Concentration in Legal Studies from Strayer University in May 2014, Graduated Magna Cum Laude. I graduated with a Master Degree in Management with a Concentration in Leadership at Strayer University May 2016, Distinguished Banner Carrier.
I worked several jobs in my life and held executive, administrative and management positions. I was Human Resources Manager for 5 years and I also worked with the State of Georgia within three agencies (Department of Public Health, Child Support and Family and Children Services). I have also done mortgages for 17 years and owned my own mortgage business for 5 years. I completed all the requirements the IRS requests of tax preparers. I passed the federal test that was once required by the Internal Revenue Service and received my certification to be a Registered Tax Return Preparer. I received my certification through Latino Tax Pros to be an instructor to teach income tax classes. I am a member f the following organizations; National Association of Tax Professional (NATP), National Associations of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP), National Association of Registered Return Preparers NARTRP) and Latino Association of Tax Professionals. I am currently studying to become an Enrolled Agent and Anti-Money Laundering Certified Specialist. I am a Certified Notary Public and a Paralegal. I wore many hats over the years and am known as a work-a-holic.
I am a member for the Adell Foundation, Inc. and I organized The Girls Rock Teen group. The Adell Foundation has made a difference in my life, I became a Certified Life Coach and attended the Empowerment to Change workshops that made me a better person in so many areas.
I am proud to announce that we have three other locations to provide services to you.
I have accomplished a lot and have worked very hard to receive the many blessings that God has given me. My main motto is, “If I can’t help you, I won’t hurt you and I love you.” I love helping others and making a difference.
